The Department of Medical Education (MED) is responsible for provision of medical education, research and
continuing professional development of healthcare experts in the United Arab Emirates. The Academic Affairs
Centre (AAC) under the governance of MED established the Dubai Residency Training Program (DRTP) in 2006.
DRTP is a structured postgraduate Educational Training Program whose vision is to bridge the gap between Medical undergraduate qualification and specialized medical professions.
The program offers a customized learning platform where the residents are trained and constantly evaluated for consistent improvement.
