These guides explain ways to change how your computer or web browser operates, to make things easier for people who find a mouse or keyboard difficult to use.
Use voice recognition to search
If you are a slow typist, or have difficulty or discomfort when using a keyboard,we have a speech-to-text software that allows you to enter text and interact with your computer by talking to it. Some people who have difficulty with words - with conditions such as dyslexia - can also find it helpful.
How to do this?
Click on Search icon at the right hand side of the screen and click on microphone icon. You can speak your search criteria on the microphone and the search results will appear.
Use virtual keyboard instead of an actual keyboard
For those who struggle to use the real keyboard can use virtual keyboard to type the text. Just click on the text box and you will see a keyboard icon. Click on the keyboard icon and you will get a virtual keyboard on screen to use.
