Dubai Health Authority Opens Registration for Summer Training Programme

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 16, 2025: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced the opening of registration for its summer training programme, aimed at high school and university students. The initiative is designed to develop students' academic abilities, refine their skills, and enhance their readiness to determine their future career paths.

The programme forms part of DHA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its societal role by providing an applied educational environment that prepares students and enables them to acquire the practical skills necessary to enter the healthcare sector and contribute effectively to its development and sustainability.

Noura Al Midfa, Director of Human Resources at the DHA, highlighted the importance of the programme, which offers students a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the institutional work environment within the healthcare sector. Participants will be involved in a range of tasks under the supervision of specialised teams, helping to enhance their abilities, enrich their practical experience, and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.

She added that the programme, which will run from 7 July to 1 August, aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of empowering youth and investing in their potential.

She emphasised that the programme also aims to strengthen students’ active participation in supporting the sustainable development system, noting that the summer training initiative is one of several designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.

She also highlighted the Authority’s current efforts to provide an integrated training environment that aligns with international best practices and contributes to building a generation of national talent capable of enhancing and advancing the healthcare sector.
