DHA receives ‘Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart Government Award’ shields for winning in three categories


The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) received today the ‘Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart Government Award’ shields.

The authority was honoured for winning in three categories the ‘Best Internal Partnership to Improve Services’ category, which the authority won for its joint clinic for gastric cancer, the ‘Best Smart Government App’ category, which the authority won for its Hayati App and the ‘Best Communication Center Manager’ category.

The award ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of DHA and His Excellency Abdulla Abdul Rahman Al Shaibani - Secretary General of the Executive Council of Dubai, as well as other officials.

While receiving the award, Al Qatami said that the Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart Government Award was able to— in a very short period— establish a sophisticated concept for government performance that encourages innovation and creativity under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

Al Qatami reaffirmed that the award has achieved its goals when it was established four years ago, which is supporting the smart government transformation and encouraging government bodies to share their best experiences and services so that other governmental bodies can benefit from them
