The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) is at the forefront of the latest advances in healthcare following its participation in an innovative procedure to treat blocked coronary arteries. The new therapy, which was undertaken for the first time at Dubai Hospital and Rashid Hospital, last week, is deemed so groundbreaking that it has been hailed the ‘Fourth Revolution’ in the field of cardiology. Dubai Health Authority Launches E-claims for Enaya Health insurance in the Emirate

His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director-General of the DHA announced that Dubai will start electronic claiming for insurance with the Government of Dubai Employee Health insurance program known as “Enaya” and that a tender for this has been awarded to Dimensions Health solutions, the agreement was signed today at the Arab health congress.

Al Wasl Hospital renamed Latifa Hospital

Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has given directives to change the name of Dubai’s Al Wasl Hospital into Latifa Hospital as a homage to the loving memory of his late mother Sheikha Latifa Bint Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
