The Academic Affairs Centre at the Department of Medical Education conducted first of series sessions of “Meeting of Minds”. The purpose of the meeting is for all Dubai Residency Training Programs to come together, share their experiences, the good ideas and practices across the different programs and believing that contribution of the experts will give a new perspective on available opportunities to improve the specialty programs and training of the residents across all the disciplines.
The first session took place on Monday 24th 2010 and the topic of the meeting was “Sharing the Experience of Structured Assessment in the Emergency Medicine Program”,
Dr Ramzi Hasan, Head of Emergency Medicine Department presented Emergency Medicine Residency Program assessment model
And Dr Firas Jafar, Senior Specialist in Emergency presented The Academic Day Model for the Emergency Residency Program
The meeting was held at the Department of Medical Education and was attended by different specialty training program directors, program co-directors and doctors involved in training and supervising residents.
