Convalescence House

Convalescence House (also referred as Nursing Facility) is a health facilities that provide rehabilitation, inpatient nursing, and other health-related care to those in need of continuous nursing care that do not require hospitalization. Nurses are commonly employed in these settings and work beneath the supervision of professional medical staff.  This is because patients require 24 hour care and many need assistants in basic care, such as bathing and getting dressed. The continuum of nursing services and facilities may be distinguished by the levels of care, staff support areas, and service areas provided.

 

Dental Laboratory

 

Dental Laboratory Is a licensed facility for providing dental laboratory work.

Dental Laboratory can be established independently or within a dental centre providing that there are at least four permanent licensed dentists in the same facility in such case the dental laboratory shall provide services for the same facility only and can not receive dental work from out side the facility.

Home Healthcare Services

 

Home Healthcare Services agencies providing care by health care professionals in an individual's place of residence on a per-visitor or per-hour basis to patients who are elderly, terminally ill, require short-term or long-term intervention by health care professionals, or have/are at risk of an injury, an illness, or a disabling condition. Services may include medical, nursing, occupational therapy, pediatric, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, social work, and nutrition counseling services and may be provided directly or through contract with another organization or individual. Professionals are commonly employed in this area and work under the direction and supervision of treating physician.

Optics shop is a licensed facility that is equipped to provide vision tests and prescription eyeglasses for clients and placing contact lenses according to the ophthalmologist advice

 

Prosthetic and Orthotics Centre

 

Prosthetic and Orthotics Center that provide services for:

Artificial substitution or replacement of a part of the body, designed for functional or cosmetic reasons or both, such as tooth, eye, a facial bone, the palate, a hip, a knee or another joint, the leg, an arm and so forth, or support, brace, or splint used to support, align, prevent, or correct the function of movable parts of the body. Shoe inserts are orthotics that are intended to correct an abnormal, or irregular walking pattern, by altering slightly the angles at which the foot strikes a walking or running surface. Other orthotics includes neck braces, lumbosacral supports, knee braces, and wrist supports.

 

Physiotherapy Center   

 

Physiotherapy Center is a center that provides specialized health care services to community intended to develop, maintain, restore maximum movement and functional ability. Intervention includes; assessment, functional diagnosis, planning of treatment, and implementation of intervention and evaluation of outcome of client’s condition.

Special Needs Center

 

Special Needs Center is a community-based non-residential facility specializing in providing services that are designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or cognitively impaired children. Special need center facilities provide a caring, non-institutional setting for individuals who, for their own safety and well-being, can no longer be left at home alone. These facilities often provide protected settings and include a mixture of health and support services. Many offer specialized services such as programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, vision and hearing impairments
