Blood Bank Service Center
This is a specialized facility that deals with people for blood donation, preservation, and performing laboratories tests to assure the safe use of the donated blood and its contents, and dispensing it based on the approved policy and procedures.
Blood bank services centre are classified in to:
(1) Central blood bank service center,
(2) Peripheral blood bank service center (located in hospitals laboratories),
(3) Semi relocatable blood bank service center and
(4) Mobile and relocatable blood bank service center

Cord Blood Center
Also called as cord blood bank, such facilities collects, processes, stores and distributes blood collected from the umbilical cord for patients needing a stem cell transplant.
Clinical Laboratories
Clinical laboratory is a facility, which is designed and licensed to provide various kinds of laboratory and analytical tests to the patients for medical diagnostics purposes
Diagnostic Imaging Center
Diagnostic Imaging Centre is a facility with one or more radiologist (or specialist in Nuclear Medicine) specialized in one of the recognized radiology branches attending the facility in a permanent basis, the facility is providing medical radiology diagnostic services. (e.g. Plain X ray and nuclear medicine etc.).
