His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director General of Dubai Health Authority received in his office at the DHA headquarters two days ago a delegation representing Dubai Autism Centre led by His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Al Amadi Board Members and Director General of Dubai Autism Center.
The two sides discussed during the meeting, ways of strengthening future cooperation in all fields, including surveys and early detection of complex developmental disorders and the mechanism of uniting the efforts of special education centers and set of standards to improve the services of such centers, and emphasis on the medical and educational integration in order to support autistic people.
Director General of Dubai Health Authority praised the Dubai Autism Center achievements during the past ten years and the scientific method used in diagnosis and treatment, which contributed to improve the general health of autistics, integrating autistic people into the community, increase community awareness of the disease, causes and symptoms and patients and their families needs.
His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Al Amadi Board Members and Director General of Dubai Autism Center praised the constructive cooperation and continued support of Dubai Health Authority provided for the Centre and which has an active role in raising with the level and quality of services provided by the Center.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation on behalf of the board members, the Centre's staff and the families of children with autism to preset an honorary shield to His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid Director General of Dubai Health Authority in recognition of the efforts, periodic and continued support provided by the DHA to the Dubai Autism Center, which is celebrating these days its tenth anniversary.
The Delegation of the Dubai Autism Center included Dr. Mohammad Fatiha head of the Speech-Communication Unit Director of Government Communications, Ms. Sara Ahmed Baqer, head of community service and member of the diagnosis committee, Ms. Huoli Murad head of communication and business, Mr. Yousef Al Thafer project manager, Mr. Farhan Shaheed the Project Manager.
