Our 12-bed Coronary Care Unit and 8-bed Cardiac Intervention Unit are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for catering to our patients’ needs.
We have a team of qualified and experienced doctors and nurses who attend to our patients and help them recover.
Outpatient Services:
We run outpatient clinics twice a week where we see patients in consultation and follow-up post cardiac events.
Non-Invasive Cardiac Investigations:
Our Non-Invasive Cardiac Investigations Laboratory carries out the following tests:
12-lead ECG
Exercise ECG (treadmill stress test)
Holter monitoring
External event monitoring
24-hour BP monitoring
Transthoracic echocardiography
Transesophageal echocardiography
Dobutamine stress echocardiography
Invasive cardiac services:
We have an 8-bed Cardiac Interventional Unit which is equipped with a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and provides inpatient services for patients undergoing coronary invasive procedures.
Our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is run by a team of highly trained cardiovascular technologists and nurses who assist the cardiologist during the procedures.
Our invasive cardiac services include:
1. Primary PCI
2. Coronary angiography
3. Coronary angioplasty with stenting
4. Balloon valvuloplasty
5. Right heart catheterization
6. Pacemaker insertion: temporary and permanent
7. Internal cardiac defibrillator (ICD) implantation
8. Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) insertion.
Cardiac Rehabilitation:
Cardiac Rehabilitation is the process by which individuals with CVD are restored to, and maintained at, their optimal physiological, psychological, social, vocational, nutritional and emotional status. We believe that a cardiac rehab program assists the cardiac patient in achieving an optimal level of physical and mental health.
The combined educational experience and lifestyle change that each patient takes back into the community after completion of the program, also promotes community health and wellness.
Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic:
The hospital recently added this service to its prominently known cardiology section, to provide holistic and dedicated treatment to adults with congenital heart problems. Such adults have spent their lives battling congenital heart problems and need comprehensive care and management from a dedicated specialist in this field.

Duration of the program/patient: 12 wks
We hold cardiac seminars once a month for the MI patients and their relatives in order to educate them about the recovery stages and the necessary steps and care that must be taken in order to resume a normal course of life.
